1. Information We Collect

GreasePanda does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers. All data remains on your device and in your chosen cloud storage (if enabled).

Data Stored Locally:

• Userscripts you install or create
• Extension settings and preferences
• Script execution logs (stored locally only)
• Language preferences

2. Google Drive Integration (Optional)

If you choose to enable Google Drive sync:

• We access only the files created by GreasePanda in your Google Drive
• Your userscripts and settings are stored in your personal Google Drive
• We use Google's OAuth2 for secure authentication
• You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings
• No data is shared with third parties

3. Permissions Explained

GreasePanda requests the following permissions:

• Storage: To save your scripts and settings locally
• Active Tab & Scripting: To inject userscripts into web pages
• Web Navigation: To detect when scripts should run
• Context Menus: To provide right-click menu options
• Downloads: To export/backup your scripts
• All URLs: To run userscripts on any website you choose

4. Data Security

• All data processing happens locally on your device
• Google Drive sync uses encrypted HTTPS connections
• We follow Chrome extension security best practices
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry is collected

5. Third-Party Services

GreasePanda may interact with:

• Userscript repositories (Greasyfork, OpenUserJS, UserScript.Zone) - only to help you discover scripts
• Google Drive API - only if you enable sync functionality
• Websites where you run scripts - as required for userscript functionality

6. Your Rights

• All your data remains under your control
• You can export/backup your scripts at any time
• You can disable Google Drive sync without losing local data
• Uninstalling the extension removes all local data

7. Children's Privacy

GreasePanda is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

9. Open Source

GreasePanda's code is transparent and can be reviewed. The extension operates exactly as described in this policy.
